Bio: Catherine Ruddell (she/her) is a trauma informed facilitator and leadership coach. She facilitates a decolonizing framework called Cultivating Safe Spaces, that offers tools and practices to create safety, belonging and respect in the workplace. Catherine believes we contribute our best when we feel safe to show up in spaces as our true selves. She also offers 1-1 coaching through an Indigenous lens, supporting leaders to embrace ways of thinking, acting and being that align with their personal values.
She holds a BA in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University, earning a President’s Scholar Award, as well as the Founder’s Award for excellence in leadership and sustainability. She is also a proud Regional Ambassador with WeBC, supporting women entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and become bankable.
Catherine is Métis on her maternal side, a member of the Métis Nation of BC, as well as elected Representative of the Métis Women of BC in Region 7. Her settler family members travelled from England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland. She is grateful to live and build relationships on the lands of the Dane Zaa in Treaty 8 Territory, also part of the historic Métis Nation homeland.
